The Silk Mill Building is located in the charming village of White Mills,
(founded circa 1820) famous for the neighboring Dorflinger Glass Factory and adjoining
glass houses created in a French style, all miraculously preserved to this day. It is only
two hours to New York City.

The Delaware National Forest and the Suydam Wildlife Sanctuary surround the area,
providing beautiful
tree-lined roads and a tranquil and private natural setting. White Mills is situated in
northeastern Pennsylvania, about twelve miles from the New York state border. The town is
near the original Woodstock music festival site and is nestled between the historic towns
of Hawley (founded 1792) and Honesdale (founded 1827), connected by Route 6. Although the
White Mills community is delightfully exclusive in a small country setting, nearby
communities offer all the amenities and conveniences one could want, from cinemas,
restaurants, antique shops and even 24/7 superstores. Nearby Lake Wallenpaupack, a
breathtaking 57,000-acre natural body of water with 55 miles of shoreline, is ideal for
